DESCRIPTION: Newland SDA Church’s evangelistic series billed as Revelation of Hope Gospel Crusade began on Sunday June 7 and continues to July 5, 2015. Worship begins at 7:30 p.m. nightly from Sunday to Wednesday nights and on Friday nights. The speaker is firebrand Evangelist D. CunninghamNEWLAND SDA, a man of God who tells it like it is. Visitors are welcome and can enjoy health talks, youth forum, baby blessings and Prayer power hour. Take your family to enjoy the meetings.

EVENT : Men’s Day at Waterford SDA Church

DESCRIPTION: The Waterford SDA Church Men’s Ministry group presents Men’s day on Sabbath, June 13 under the theme: Crossing Jordan.

The speaker for the midday service is Pastor Derek Bignall. The entire programme will be hosted by the men of the church. An All Male Chorale  and male singers will provide uplifting music.

Come join the Waterford men in a full day of worship starting at 9:15 a.m. All are welcome.



EVENT: Everyone’s a Winner Best Dressed Chicken Road Race

DESCRIPTION: Now in its 5th year, the 2015 edition of the Everyone’s a Winner Best Dressed Chicken Road Race series brings together family fun and competitive camaraderie to mark this notable milestone. It will be staged at Hope Botanical Gardens. Each race will have its own unique theme and the most ever awards for overall, team and  age group winners under 10 to 70 years and over. According to the organizer, each race is limited to 2,000 entrants, so don’t wait to register, if you want to be a  be apart of this family event.

DESCRIPTION: On Monday June 15, 2015, at 7pm, at the Theater Place, 8 Haining Road Kingston 10, Jamaica West Indies the curtain will rise to announce the debut of NACTIP and REGGAE GAPPS that are multi dimensional arts & entertainment production groups. Celebrating their synergy, creative discipline and true Jamaican pride they will present “PRELUDE” their mufti-level entertainment showcase of diverse artists; taking center stage will be the electrifying and multi talented artists Splicerr Ras, Marcia Davis and Mark-Anthony Abel in an unplugged performance showcasing their unique individual styles. The evening’s program will lay the foundation of the production agenda for the upcoming year.

This evening, which will also include a reception, shines a spotlight on “what’s new, what’s now, what’s next” and is a true expression of the tapestry that is Jamaica. Enhanced by the NACTIP group’s ‘knack to fill a GAPP” with sophistication and gracious hospitality, this eclectic event will truly be a magical blend of delightful ambiance, delectable Jamaican cuisine and suberb entertainment. Bringing together artists, influential business people and interested members of the public, the evening promises to be spectacular! Proceeds from “PERLUDE” will be donation based and used to facilitate initiatives in Jamaica that promote the empowerment of cancer awareness and youth development efforts.
